University of Michigan Mid-June Expectations came in at 49.0 compared to reading in May of 51.1; University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 5.1% compared to May with an increase by 5.2%; University of Michigan 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 3.4% compared to May with an increase by 3.4%; University of Michigan Mid-June Current Index came in at 68.7 compared to May reading at 73.3; University of Michigan Mid-June Sentiment came in at 56.7 compared to May reading at 59.8.

Commodities Markets
Energy Sector: Light Crude (NYM) shed $1.88 on the day to close at $134.86 a barrel ($US per bbl.); Heating Oil (NYM) shed $0.11 on the day to close at $3.84 a gallon ($US per gal.); Natural Gas (NYM) shed $0.17 on the day to close at $12.63 per million BTU ($US per mmbtu.); Unleaded Gas (NYM) shed $0.06 on the day to close at $3.46 a gallon ($US per gal.).

Metals Markets: Gold (CMX) gained $1.10 to close at $873.10 ($US per Troy oz.); Silver (CMX) gained $0.08 to close at $16.56 ($US per Troy oz.); Platinum (NYM) gained $11.10 on the day to close at $2,037.00 ($US per Troy oz.) and Copper (CMX) gained $0.05 on the day to close at $3.59 ($US per lb.).

Livestock and Meat Markets (cents per lb.): Lean Hogs (CME) gained 1.05 to close at 75.15; Pork Bellies (CME) gained 0.58 to close at 73.90; Live Cattle (CME) gained 0.68 to close at 102.28; Feeder Cattle (CME) gained 0.10 to close at 109.15.

Other Commodities (cents per bu.): Corn (CBT) gained 25.50 to close the session at 765.00 and Soybeans (CBT) gained 18.50 to close session at 1,531.00.

Bond action for the day: 2 year bond closed with no change at 99 6/32 with a Yield of 3.04, Yield Change -0.01; 5 year bond shed 5/32 to close at 98 30/32 with a Yield of 3.73, Yield Change +0.04; 10 year bond gained 5/32 to close at 97 14/32 with a Yield of 4.26, Yield Change +0.05; the 30 year bond shed 13/32 to close at 93 13/32 on the day with a Yield of 4.79, Yield Change +0.03.
