| Mr Suria, Hope you are enjoying the long weekend. Was perusing the archives of the Sinletter earlier and found the Malaysian iShares as looking attractive. Was curious as to your current thoughts and if you currently have a position. Chart looks pretty decent, and a few of the other articles seem to have a positive take. -Kevin

Kevin,
The long weekend is coming along well and I am planning on spending part of it writing the next newsletter. I do like the long-term prospects of the Malaysian iShares (EWM) ETF as more high-end manufacturing continues to move to Malaysia. Freescale Semiconductor has a large assembly and testing facility in Malaysia and GDP growth has been 8% and above since 2002.
I was waiting for a pull-back before adding EWM to my portfolio and even though the ETF dipped to $9 in March, I was occupied with a consulting contract and did not pick it up (an automated order would have been very helpful). I started thinking about EWM in mid-2006 when it was trading in the $7 range and am still kicking myself for not acting upon my intuition. Given how rapidly this ETF is rising, I think there might be another opportunity to pick it up on a pull back.
